Deleting your data

How It Works

If you request to delete your data, Review Hut will delete all personal data associated with your account, except data we are legally or contractually permitted to retain.

To submit a data deletion request:

1. Log in to your Review Hut account and initiate the deletion request.

2. Once the request is submitted:

   • Your account will be deleted from our database.

   • All reviews sent from the deleted account will still exist and the account reviewed from will be a placeholder account designed by Review Hut.

   • A review will be conducted to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service.

Reversing your request:

• Once data deletion is initiated, it cannot be reversed

After Deletion:

• If a violation of our Terms of Service is discovered, your account will be flagged and permanently restricted. You will not be able to create another Review Hut account linked to the same Instagram account.

What Data is Deleted?

Review Hut deletes all personal data we are legally obligated to remove, which includes:

• Account details (e.g., usernames and emails)

• Subscription data, unless otherwise required for billing purposes.

Exceptions:

• If our Terms of Service have been violated, we may retain limited account identification data (e.g., Instagram ID or username) to prevent future abuse.

What Data is Retained?

Some data may be retained to meet our legal obligations or protect our legitimate business interests. This includes:

1. Data required to resolve Terms of Service violations:

   • Retained to identify and prevent fraud, abuse, or legal violations.

2. Legal compliance and defense:

   • Retained to comply with legal requirements or defend against claims.

3. Service obligations:

   • Retained to resolve billing issues or provide services owed to you.

4. Record-keeping:

   • Retained as proof of your data deletion request, in accordance with applicable laws.

We will only use retained data for these stated purposes and ensure it is securely stored for the duration of its retention.
